These holiday breaks will bring you back to nature. We want people to consider the impact that humans have on this earth, but also the impact of tourism too. Our huts have minimal impact on the land which we want to protect and preserve. We encourage guests to think about what they don`t need and can do without, then take those thoughts back home and apply them to everyday life.

There is no electricity, lighting, hairdryers, charging points or any fancy hot tubs. Just well equipped, traditional and cosy shepherds huts, each with their own campfire set in beautiful ancient woodland. We have a ‘leave no trace’ policy and encourage guests to preserve water and take away any rubbish.

Our accommodation is perfect for walking the Southern uplands, visiting South West Scotland, cycling the Seven Stanes, wild swimming and canoeing on Loch Ken, star gazing in the Dark Sky Park and nature watching holidays. Calm your mind, soothe your soul and reconnect yourself with nature!
