We build traditional Shepherd Huts for sale in Scotland which can then be tailored to suit the customer’s needs. So, whether you want a spare room, yoga space, a retreat, hide away or glamping holiday accommodation, we can design and build bespoke Shepherds Huts to suit your needs.
Our charming Shepherd’s Huts are made to a traditional design, handcrafted in our own workshop in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. We use a local blacksmith to forge ironwork and source all wood locally. Paul has been working in the building trade for over 30 years and has brought all his skills together to produce high-quality Shepherds Huts made to building standards. As Shepherd Hut manufacturers, we are environmentally conscious only using native timber and believe in supporting local businesses. Our Shepherd’s Huts are towable and have custom made turntables and towbars.
Every chassis is hand-built to suit the Shepherd’s Hut using native oak beams and wrought iron wheels. The interiors are fully lined in pine tongue and groove, traditional curved rafters and ridge beams are all individually crafted to create the iconic shepherd’s hut curved roof.
All windows and doors are handmade in our workshop, double glazed with traditional wrought iron stays and latches. Woodburning stoves, electricity supply sockets, beds and units can all be supplied and fitted as required.

Shepherds Huts For Sale - pricing
We currently offer crafted traditional Shepherds Huts starting size of 6ft 8 wide x 12ft long (internal) and approx. 11ft high (overall height), ready to go and for you to create your own space starting at £18,500. Larger Shepherds Huts can be made to suit your requirements at £500 extra per foot.
We provide handcrafted mortice and peg steps and glazed stable door with every hut.
Optional extras to suit are:
- Woodburning stove
- Electricity supply
- Fitted sink unit
- Built in bed with storage
- Folding table under the window
- Other extras can be discussed and arranged.
